      I bought this TV to interchange my 36" Sony Trinitron that died. My Sony is at a custom built-in cabinet. I want to to replace it all while using biggest flat screen I can buy.

      The only TV that fit my requirement was the Mitsubishi lt-40151. Its slim frame design met my needs perfectly. I viewed every model of 40" flat screen this also had the actual width footprint. I didn't aspire to drop a 37". Undoubtedly that may have save me around $1000.

      Here is my look at this TV (after 1 day):

      Good Things:
      1> The picture quality is outstanding.
      2> The sound is definitely perfect for a set screen.
      3> It channel guide is very nice.

      Bad Things:
      1> The fee. Generally if i didn't have a size requirement, I recommend haven't read this TV. Aided by the $[...] price, I shouldn't have items 2,3 and 4 through this list.
      2> The handheld control. Not discussed very effectively and also menu keys are much too small.
      3> The television menu is not very user-friendly. It took me longer than usual to discover the TV set at the across the air broadcast and my devices. **I've set up quite a lot of TV's, most recently Samsung and Sony LCD's. Their TV menu were really easy to navigates and intensely user friendly. Mitsubishi has work in order to do here.
      4> Changing channels was very slow. Overly slow for getting a $[...] 40" TV. I own a Radio Shack converter box that changes channel 3x as fast. A $[...] TV can match Radio Shack. **My Samsung and Sony LCD work much faster too.

      Over all:
      I would buy this TV again, since it was the greatest TV I could truthfully easily fit in my space.

      Hopes:
      I hope $[...] package price has bought me a quality built TV that would keep going longer than my 12 year old 36" Sony Trinitron (that would have lasted 20+ years).
