5.0 out of 5 stars Large 27" LCD that works for a charm, November 11, 2010
This review is from: ViewSonic VA2702W 27-Inch Full HD 1080p Widescreen LCD Monitor with DVI and VGA Inputs - Black (Notebooks)
Here include the settings I exploit that actually work perfectly for this particular LCD:
1. Makes use of the DVI cable and not VGA (which simply won't work for a great giant screen).
2. Color adjust -> sRBG and not just other settings to obtain sharper text (1st button -> color adjust -> 4th button -> 2nd button a couple of times -> sRGB -> 4th button -> 1st button a few times).
3. If for example text are so small available for you, use 1440x900 instead (for PC: Control Panel -> Display -> Settings -> 1440x900).
I tried VGA and also it was too blurry to see the text. I should say also found the sRBG color adjustment provided the sharpness We need for text. To locate the best resolution use 1920x1080 in the event the driver supports it. But Now i am getting old with decayed vision, and 1440x900 is designed for me.
With these settings, VA2770W can be as sharp as many of the smaller LCDs We used historically, and offers extra space which makes reading text easier!
